WPM Group flags revenue growth

Perth company WPM Group anticipates revenue growth of more than 35 per cent this year after securing three major contracts in its specialist niche of print management.

Its latest contract, signed last month, was with the Department of Fire and Emergency Services.

The department has appointed WPM alongside three printing companies – Advance Press, Scott Print and Quality Press – to manage its $3 million printing requirements.

That followed the signing of a contract last November with Western Power for the supply of print, promotional merchandise and signage.

WPM chief executive Neil Clark said he was particularly pleased to have won the Western Power tender, as multinational company Staples had previously supplied the service.

A third major contract was signed last July with national construction and demolition company Delta Group, to manage its print, personal protective equipment (PPE) and merchandise needs.

Mr Clark said Delta had identified a need to refresh its corporate branding and increase efficiency across all its marketing and branded products.

“The challenges they described were common to many of our clients – namely, not enough control over procurement, invoicing, stock monitoring, inventory, re-ordering, and returns,” he said.

“The client identified a loss of staff time as an area for improvement.

“Specifically, time wasted on rush reordering when stock levels were low, and loss of productivity in the invoicing and returns management process.”

As well as lifting supply chain efficiency, WPM’s online system is designed to help clients stay ‘on brand’.

“The system ensures every single item ordered adheres to brand guidelines, maintaining quality and unity across all components of a business,” Mr Clark said.

He said the 14-year-old business was anticipating turnover this year of more than $3 million.
