Engineering and consulting services company Logicamms has signed contracts with Samsung C&T Corporation, Chevron Australia and Oil Search for a combined contract value of about $15 million.
Logicamms will provide engineering and procurement services to Samsung that will enhance the control system integration of the Roy Hill ore mine in the Pilbara.
A Logicamms team will also be deployed to Chevron’s Gorgon LNG project off the north-western coast of Western Australia to provide asset performance services that will help support the platform for a growing hydrocarbons business in WA.
Oil Search, which has been provided with asset performance services by Logicamms for several years, will continue the use Logicamms’ resources to provide competency training and assurance services to its PNG gas project.
“These awards further validate the company’s recently announced strategic initiatives that focus on competitive solutions to the minerals and metals sectors and an enhanced service offering in hydrocarbons, particularly in relation to asset performance services,” Logicamms managing director Matthew Adamo said.
In May, Logicamms announced that it would be cutting back overhead costs in order to save about $7 million per annum in effort to increase revenue over the long term.
In the same announcement, Logicamms said while there remained a significant pipeline of opportunities, both capital and operational investment decisions had become more complex and continued to be deferred.
Logicamms’ share price at 10:40am was a 2.7 per cent rise at 95 cents.
