Uproov (‘you prove’) involves using a unique time-stamped encryption key for every image or recording, which is then locked. Even a photo of the photo cannot be taken, which the company claims is a world first.

Who? ~ This is the first blockchain project from the team at Ledger Assets (incorporated in mid 2015) – co-founders John Bulich and Govert van Ek, Nuno Martins (chief tech officer), Sheree Ip (legal), Andre Ashton (R&D) and Jay Akther (software engineer).

Development was funded by a number of high net worth individuals, and the company is not currently raising funds. Uproov has thousands of users (mainly in the US) and was runner-up in Blockchain startup pitch competition in San Diego recently.
